Jan 8, 2020 is the first day of the legislative session and a great time to get familiar with the inner workings of the Capitol! Bills will be introduced, new legislators sworn in, tours given, chances to meet with your legislators and more. Most importantly, you’re invited to attend the Stand for Colorado rally on the west steps of the Capitol at 11am. This rally will draw a diverse crowd seeking to unite under the banner of living freely and having the ultimate authority over their lives, bodies, and minds. Freedom Vs. Force, Force vs. Freedom

This last legislative session, the veil was removed on the agenda of radical, activist Politicians, Bureaucrats and Interested Parties (PBIs) who no longer deliberate issues nor consider other points of view. Instead, foundational Rights such as Due Process, Vote of the People and Parental Rights were disregarded in favor of forcing thru laws that hurt hardworking, everyday Coloradans. During this last legislative session, radical activist PBIs showed their hand. Whether it was the National Popular Vote (SB-042), Oil & Gas (SB-181), Sex Education Bill (HB19-1032), Red Flag Law (Hb-1177) or forced vaccinations (HB19-1312), Coloradans saw firsthand that these PBIs have limited interest in representing the citizen and more interest in pushing forward their radical agenda via force.

If an idea is a good idea, then it will win in the Battle of Ideas. If it is a bad idea, it must be sold via manipulation, deception and force. We are Coloradans. We are freedom people. We are individuals who embolden the rugged spirit that built Colorado and believe that, in Colorado, if government stays within its’ proper lane and stays out of our way, anything is possible.

It’s important to take a Stand for Colorado. January 8th, Politicians, Bureaucrats and Interested Parties (PBIs) convene for the 2020 Colorado Legislative Session. Will they base their decisions on Freedom or Force? Force or Freedom? They need to know that we are watching and we will hold them accountable for the decisions they make.

Christina Coleman

Pastor Christine Uwizera Coleman is a writer, a motivational speaker, a Christian human rights activist and a pastor. Through her teachings and mentoring, thousands of lives from around the globe have been impacted and forever transformed! After surviving the Rwanda Genocide where Christine lost her siblings, family members and friends, she found hope in Christ and her life has never been the same. Pastor Christine immigrated to the USA in 1997 and is the founder of Blazing Holy Fire Ministries.

Sherrona Bishop

Sherronna Bishop, AKA America’s Mom, tenaciously defends core values of Coloradans who do not want to lose the freedoms and rights of each and every citizen who lives in the greatest nation in the world. She tirelessly researches issues of our culture and constitution, and has a passion to ensure that all people, starting with the individual, maintain the right to life, liberty, and personal property. As a wife and mother of four, she is resolute in her defense of the relentless attack on our children and parental rights. Sherronna is a fervent protector of the western way of life.

Lauren Boebert

Lauren Boebert is a Colorado native living on the Western Slope. She believes in personal freedom, citizen rights and upholding the Constitution of the United States. Lauren is the founder, owner, and operator of Shooters Grill, a restaurant that earned national notoriety for staff that proudly open carry as they serve their customers. The passage of the Red Flag Law by the 2019 Colorado Legislature and signed by the Colorado governor reaffirmed with Lauren that there is a battle for the heart and soul of our country. Lauren is intent on helping win this epic battle of ideas.

Siting of Wireless Facilities
Cindi Peck

Cindi Peck has focused her career on the prevention of health and behavioral problems among school age youth and their families. Directing research offices in both university and educational laboratories, she managed studies on familial and environmental factors impacting child well-being. Cindi is very concerned that the 2017 Colorado Legislature stripped local government’s control on the siting of wireless facilities. Communities are now experiencing radiating antennas in front of homes and schools. Cindi is working diligently to regain local control in the siting of wireless facilities.

Freedom to Drive
Kim Monson

Kim Monson understands that the Freedom to Drive, freedom of mobility, is inherent in the rugged, individual Coloradan’s spirit. There is an assault on the opportunity for everyday, hardworking folks to drive the vehicles that work for them, their families and their businesses. Instead PBIs (Politicians, Bureaucrats and Interested Parties) are using public policy, manipulation and force to push folks into modes of transportation that PBIs think are best. Kim Monson is dedicated to fighting for the right for every Coloradan to have the Freedom to Drive, to go where they want to when they want to.

Brita Horn

Brita Horn, Treasurer of the Colorado State Fire Chiefs, is passionate about protecting the economic freedom of everyday, hardworking Coloradans. She is a fervent supporter of TABOR, Colorado’s Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights, and became very concerned when she discovered that the 2019 Colorado Legislature raided the uncollected funds accounts of the people of Colorado. Brita is working diligently to increase transparency and accountability of government at the local, county and state level.

Energy Freedom
Amy Oliver Cooke

Amy Oliver Cooke is the Executive Vice-President and Director of the Energy and Environment Policy Center for the Independence Institute. She is one of Colorado’s original state-level, free market energy policy advocates. Amy received the Spark Freedom Trendsetter Award for social media outreach and a prestigious Reed Award for best Spanish language TV ad for a ballot measure. Amy states that she is an energy feminist because she is pro-choice in energy sources. Amy passionately believes that energy freedom empowers every day, hardworking Coloradans to thrive and prosper.

Homeschool Freedom
Carolyn Martin

Carolyn Martin serves as the Legislative Liaison for the Christian Home Educators of Colorado. She homeschooled her three children in New York for several years before moving to Colorado in 2004. Carolyn’s interest and involvement in public policy issues have grown as her children grew. She is passionate about the hope of liberty in our time and keeps watch on politicians, bureaucrats and interested parties who are using force to limit homeschool freedom, parental rights and religious liberty.

Religious Freedom
Nicole Hunt

Nicole Hunt received her law degree from George Mason University. Before law school, she worked on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Assistant. While in Washington D.C. Nicole provided policy analysis and voting recommendations to members of Congress on a variety of public policy matters. She is a practicing attorney at Telios Law. In this position, Nicole provides legal advice to religious organizations regarding their rights and works with public interest law firms to protect life, family, and religious liberty. As a wife and mother, Nicole is concerned about the erosion of Religious Freedom in Colorado and is dedicated to protecting the Freedom of Religion for every Coloradan.

Medical Freedom/Forced Vaccinations
Megan Kirk

Megan Kirk graduated from Washington University with an emphasis in pre medical studies and a degree in history. After University, she worked in professional theatre for 15 years. As a wife, a mom and through her own health journey, Megan has become passionate about medical freedom and the sovereignty of one’s own body. She stands firmly opposed to any mandate by this state, our school systems and our workplaces to coerce or otherwise force pharmaceutical products on any person.

Beth Fisher

Beth Fisher developed a keen sense of how political and economic policies affect average citizens by living in Europe for almost 15 years. She is a wife and mother deeply concerned about the erosion of rights and freedoms through legislation and polices in Colorado. Her passion and training is in personality profiling. She uses her expertise in MBTI, Enneagram, and Facet 5 to help others discover how they can make an impact in the political process. She grew up in the Midwest, graduated from Hillsdale College, and is fluent in both German and Spanish.

Giuliana Day

Giuliana Day was born in Lima, Peru during times of instability and social unrest when the country was controlled by a military dictator. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Global Politics from UCLA and a Master’s in International Politics from California State, Los Angeles. Giuliana became very concerned about forcing a sex education curriculum on our kids via the HB19-1032 legislation and worked to inform families and communities about the bill. She is currently the sponsor of Initiative 120 to end late term abortions in Colorado.

Natalie Menten

Natalie Menten cares deeply about freedom, responsible and transparent government, and protecting the rights of everyday individuals to life, liberty and the pursuit of their happiness. She works tirelessly to limit government’s forcible reach into our lives and our pocket books. There is an organized and well-funded effort to repeal TABOR, Colorado’s Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights, in 2020. Natalie Menten is dedicated to protecting you and your Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights.

Patti Kurgan

Patti Kurgan is an entrepreneur and businesswoman. She cares deeply about the economic opportunity for each person to thrive and prosper. Patti served on Colorado’s Pay Equity Commission. It is important to her that each individual has the opportunity to thrive and flourish. Patti Kurgan understands that the inflexible, forced FAMLI Leave legislation, which may be proposed this legislative session, will take more money out of your paycheck and hurt mom and pop businesses throughout Colorado.

Healthcare Freedom
Dr. Jill Vecchio

Dr. Jill Vecchio is a practicing physician specializing in Radiology with a sub-specialization in Women’s Imaging. She is one of the few individuals who actually read the PPACA (Obamacare). Upon understanding the challenges that Obamacare poised for every day, hardworking individuals, Dr. Jill began speaking publicly on healthcare policy with an emphasis on market-driven ideas for healthcare solutions. She has been on radio, internet and television and hosted her own radio show.
